Since joining Brodart in 2006, Becky has worked with a great variety of libraries, large and small; public, school, and academic. While part of the inside sales team, she found her first love in Collection Development. Now as a Collection Development Project Manager, Becky helps shape the collections of many libraries through everything from McNaughton subscriptions and standing order programs to monthly notification lists, in addition to managing collections for new libraries. Every day is a great new adventure.
Becky loves adult fiction and is always eager to find new authors and series to read. She loves being outside and isn’t afraid to get dirty, be silly, or try something new. She is also an avid Saints fan, even though she’s never actually stepped foot in New Orleans. Why the Saints? Drew Brees, or course! She is blessed to have four stepchildren, aged 22, 13, 12, and 10, as well as a fiancé who is also an avid reader. Their 13- and 10-year-old sons are reluctant readers who have completely transformed the way Becky looks at children’s and teen material. Becky and her fiancé are planning to incorporate books into their wedding. Libraries and books aren’t just Becky’s job — they’re her passion!
